Stefan obtained his landscaping qualification in 1996 at the Technicon of South Africa as well as a diploma from the graduate school of management at the University of Pretoria in 2000. He completed his NQF5 designer qualification as a SABI designer in 2015.
Stefan was the owner of an irrigation business and shop from 2000 – 2010. He has 26 years of irrigation experience where he has done a lot of irrigation installations, boreholes, irrigation designs, commissioning of projects, and training; locally as well as in Botswana, Namibia, and Zambia. Some of his largest projects involve dust suppression for mines in the Rustenburg area as well as the largest indoor nursery of 7 hectares for the servest group in Malelane as well as big projects with the Piermont emperors palace group in South Africa and Botswana. We are based in Pretoria and cover Gauteng, Limpopo, North-west, Mpumalanga, Freestate, and part of Kwazulu Natal.

 

 

 

The origin of PumpCovers

As an irrigation specialist, Stefan realized the need for a specially designed pump cover. His research showed that, at the time, no pump cover existed on the market. This motivated Stefan to design a pump cover that will address all the challenges faced in his field with the harsh weather and expensive equipment.

Due to the unique design, Stefan decided that it was well worth patenting the design and intellectual property which went into the design.

Today PumpCovers is the proud patent owner and distributor of a whole range of pump and generator covers which come in different colors.
